Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate. Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE). HIGH FIVE training (principles of healthy child development). Emergency child care first aid and CPR. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Children’s Ages: 5 years. 1 year. 2 years. 3 years. 4 years. Infant (3 months – 11 months). Additional Skills: Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers. Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records. Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children. Security and Safety: Child abuse registry check. Criminal record check. Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Team player. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Interpersonal awareness. Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
