Education: Master’s degree. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Conservator Specific Skills: Restore and conserve museum and gallery artifacts. Provide advice on display and storage of artifacts to insure proper maintenance and preservation. Provide consultation to museums, art galleries or private individuals. Examine artifacts and determine the most appropriate method of restoration. Research new conservation and restoration techniques. Work Setting: Regional gallery.
