Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Experience: Experience an asset. Work Setting: Women’s drop-in centre. Women’s shelter. Specific Skills: Implement life skills workshops. Assess client’s relevant skill strengths and development needs. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Screen, recruit and train volunteers and support staff. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Target Audience: Children. Females. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Type of Community or Social Service: Socio-economic needs or conditions (housing, nutrition, unemployment, financial assistance). Volunteer coordination.
